Sew the two pieces together, leaving a hole at the top for candy.

Paper Coffin Candy Bags
Cut two pieces of black construction paper into rectangles measuring 8.5" x 11".
Place the two rectangles together and fold them in half lengthwise.
Using a bone folder or other blunt tool, crease the fold firmly.
Open the paper and fold each side towards the center crease, ensuring the edges line up perfectly. You should now have a paper bag that is 4" x 8.5".
Fold the top of the bag down 1", crease well, and then unfold. This will be the flap for your coffin lid.
